This will be the 4th annual exhibit dedicated to Youth Art Month. Children are natural artists. But that innate ability is often lost as children grow into adults. We would like to stop this from happening by recognizing, nurturing and celebrating children’s artistic gifts. Each participating adult artist will collaborate on a work of art with a child or children (under age 18). Pieces can be in any theme and in any medium. Opening night is always fun to see- the kids are so excited to have their work showcased. Some of them stand next to their pieces the entire time, so proud! This is a rare opportunity and they understand and appreciate it immensely.

  • After the February 26th deadline, participating artists will be notified via email with further instructions as we approach opening night.

  • The Suffering Artist reserves the right to curate and layout work.

  • Work must be framed unless there is sufficient reason for an alternative.

  • All work must be ready to hang.

  • Each individual piece of work must fit inside a 36”x 36” square (or 36” cube if 3D/sculptural).

  • Artists are guaranteed two pieces to exhibit. You may submit additional pieces for consideration and possible entry.

  • Completed artwork is due in the Gallery on March 19th between 11am and 12 pm.

  • The Gallery’s commission on all sales is 25%.
