Maggie Barrett at The Newnan Times Herald wrote another fantastic preview of one of our shows. This time the upcoming exhibit dedicated to drawing. Maggie did a great job capturing our thinking in wanting to do an exhibit like this: pencil work is underappreciated in today's art world. It just has a hard time getting noticed among the crowd of paintings, mixed media, digital and 3D art, etc. So this is our effort to show that good drawings can be inspiring and thought provoking, too. Most artists probably started drawing as kids anyway, so it seems appropriate to get back to our roots, at least occasionally. Thanks, Maggie and the NTH! We hope to see everyone at the show.
