The Visual Artist's Alliance of LaGrange has promoted art in our community for a full decade this year and we're happy to be hosting an exhibit to celebrate. The show opened Saturday the 24th with a great reception...it was catered by Thea Mcelvy so how could it NOT be fabulous? The show features 15 artists in pretty much every medium: oils, acrylics, mixed media, photography, pencil, pastel, sculpture (wood and ceramic), it's a nice set of works that will keep your interest from start to finish. The subject matter varies and so does the style: abstract, realism, surreal, still life. There's a lot of talent out there and we're so happy to help promote it.

I'm kicking around an idea about doing Facebook live videos at our receptions, that would've been rather nice at this one in particular. And I'd really like to start a Youtube channel that features virtual tours of our shows as well, which also would've worked nicely for this one...so many ideas, just need to implement them.
